I Will Change The Living Standard Of My People  – Council Chairmanship Aspirant

Franklin Ilaboya, the outgoing chairman of the Edo State Football Association, who is gunning for the post of chairman of Owan West Local Government Council on the platform of the All Progressives Congress(APC), has promised to use his vast experience to better the living standard of his constituents when he assumes office.
He made the pledge while addressing the press after he submitted his expression of interest form at the party’s headquarters in Benin.
Ilaboya said that he was moved to seek for the position on account of his desire not only to better the lot of the people but to also ensure that development is brought to the doorsteps of the people.
“I believe I have the wherewithal to be able to lead the local government in terms of experience, in terms of political will and in terms of support.
“Don’t forget that politics is about support. From my area I have support across board.
“When I say across board I am talking about the youths, women and the leaders.”
He averred that he will make the area the sports hub of the state and use his wide connections to attract meaningful projects to the locality.
