Super Eagles rise on FIFA table

The Super Eagles of Nigeria have risen on the ranking table of world football governing body, FIFA, from number 63 to number 60.
According to the latest table released on Wednesday, Spain retained the top spot among the 206 nations on the table while Ivory Coast in the leading African football nation at number 16.
Ivory Coast had been on the 15th position on the last ranking table. Ghana dropped from number 22 to number 25.
Spain retained its leading spot as the world’s number one followed by Uruguay, Germany, Netherlands, Brazil, England, Argentina, Croatia, Denmark and Portugal.
