It was all joy, tears and celebration for parents of the 21 released Chibok girls when they met on Sunday with their parents for the first time with their parents after they left the Boko Haram den.
The reunion which took place at the Department of State Services(DSS) saw the girls and their parents hugging themselves a number of times.
There was earlier a church service or ganised for the girls.
One of the parents Bashir whose daughter Mariam was among those released was grateful to God, the Federal government and the BringBackOurGirls movement.
” My name is Bashir, my daughter’s name is Mariam and !y wife name is Fatima. Alhamdulillah, we thank Allah for saving our daughter. Our prayers and fasting have paid off. We thank Buhari, we thank our military and we thank BBOG” he said
