President Muhammad Buhari will on Monday proceed on ten days medical vacation, the Presidency has said .
This was contained in a statement issued by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina issued on Sunday evening.
This has confirmed days of speculation that the President is sick as a result of which he cancelled his official state visits to Lagos and Rivers states respectively recently.
According to the statement: “President
Muhammadu Buhari will take ten days off and travel to London on Monday, June 6, 2016, to rest.”
“During the holiday, he will see an E.N.T Specialist for a persistent ear infection. The President was examined by his Personal Physician and an E.N.T Specialist in Abuja, and was treated.”
