Patronise Only Approved Motor Garages, Army Warns Maiduguri Residents

The 7 Division of the Nigeria Army, Maimalari Cantonment in Maiduguri has warned Borno residents to board commercial vehicles only at designated garages and places.
A statement by Majo Salisu Ibrahim Mustapha, Acting Deputy Director, Army Public Relations, said the warning said the warning has become “necessary so as to avoid a situation where remnants of dissipated and depleted Boko Haram terrorists would disguise themselves and board vehicles loading at unauthorized locations in order to avoid being detected and apprehended by security agents.”
While also urging the residents to comply with the scheduled movement plans at the authorized garages and parks, they were also enjoined to “report any suspicious persons within their vicinity to law enforcement agencies.”
