Otaji emerges as the new PHCCIMA President

A new President has emerged for Port Harcourt Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (PHCCIMA) He is Dr. Emi Membre-Otaji

The new PHCCIMA helmsman who was the first Deputy President of the chamber, emerged yesterday during the elective Annual General Meeting of the organization held at the PHCCIMA council headquarters in Port Harcourt, the state capital.

Otaji was elected alongside, the MD/CEO of M. Saleh Nigeria Limited, Chief Nabil Saleh as 1stDeputy President, MD/CEO of Interlink Technologies and Palm Nectar Limited, Dr. Maraizu Uche, as PHCCIMA Treasurer and  Dr. Walter Otunyo as Financial Secretary.

Otaji was Born on June 10, 1958 in Port Harcourt.  He is a graduate of the University of Lagos Medical School and graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in 1983.

He attended the Lagos Business School in 1993 and the Mcdonough School of Business, Georgetown, University of Washington DC, in 2014. He also obtained a Certificate in Corporate Governance in 1993 and undertook Executive Management programmes in building leaders and capacity in the Nigerian oil and gas sector in 2014.

Otaji is the Chief Executive Officer of a culmination of sister companies in the Elshcon Group. He is a one-time commissioner for Health and also Special Adviser on Privatization and Investment to the Rivers State Government including Chairman West African Glass Industry PLC.
