Olisa Metuh, former spokesman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), collapsed at a federal high court in Abuja on Monday morning.
He was making his way to the dock for his resumed trial when he fell down.
After he fell, medical personnel and Metuh’s relatives rushed to where Metuh was.
Okon Abang, the presiding judge, had to stand down the matter to enable the former PDP spokesman receive medical attention.
After that, Abang said the trial would go on but Emeka Etiaba, counsel to Metuh, argued that the court could not go on when his client was lying on a stretcher.
