Kure, A Bridge Builder, Says Ibori

Former Delta State governor, Chief James Ibori, on Monday paid tribute to Dr, Abdulkadir Kure, former Niger State governor, who he described as a bridge-builder, just as he was warm and personable.

In a statement from Ibori’s Media Assistant, Tony Eluemunor, Ibori said Kure who was “a comrade in some of the battles that raged in our time for the soul of the nation.” used his friendly disposition to build bridges across the country.

While praying that God grants Kure’s soul eternal rest and his immediate family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss, he said the former Niger State governor “was dependable, courageous, and trustworthy.”
