Kalabari Kingdom Will Always Benefit From My Administration Says Governor Wike

Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike has stated that the Kalabari Kingdom will continue to benefit from his administration. 
 
He said that Kalabari people wholeheartedly supported his bid to be governor. 
 
Speaking  at the Saint Paul’s Lutheran Cathedral, Abonnema during  the Thanksgiving Service on Sunday  to mark the elevation of King Disrael Gbobo Bob-Manuel, Amanyanabo of Abonnema as a first class traditional ruler, Governor Wike said that the Kalabari  people were among the first to support  his governorship bid.
 
“When I started the race, the Kalabari people gave me total support.  Their support  was firm”, he said. 
 
He said that  in appreciation  of  the  support from the Kalabari people, his administration  has ensured the execution of key projects in the area.
 
While urging the people  to continue  to stand by his administration , he noted that the Kalabari Kingdom will enjoy more projects. 
 
The governor said that the Zonal Hospital in Degema  will soon be completed, alongside  the rehabilitation of the Abonnema General Hospital and the Abonnema Ring Road.
 
He added that the land reclamation projects that cut across  the three Kalabari local government areas will help expand the landmass of Kalabari Land. 
 
Governor Wike said that Nyemoni Grammar School in Abonnema rehabilitated by his administration is almost ready, while the Abonnema -Obonoma Bridge has been completed and commissioned. 
 
On the elevation of King Disrael Gbobo Bob-Manuel, Amanyanabo of Abonnema as a first class traditional ruler, Governor Wike said that the Amanyanabo of Kalabari still remains the leading traditional ruler of the area.
 
“The Amanyanabo of Kalabari is the overall traditional ruler of Kalabari land. There is no dispute. I want to clear the misconception “, Governor Wike said.
