President Goodluck Jonathan yesterday appointed the wife of one of the People’s Democratic Party elders, Chief Olabode George, as the Director-General of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency. According to a statement by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Dr. Reuben Abati, Mrs. Roli Olabode George takes over from Mr. Olufemi Ajayi, who was appointed on Wednesday as the Executive Secretary of the Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF).
The appointment, the statement said, takes immediate effect.
It reads: “President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan has appointed Mrs. Roli Bode-George as the Director-General of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency.”
