In bid to consolidate development in the state through legislative process, the Speaker of Imo State House of Assembly
has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with a province of South Africa.
Uwajumogu, in a press statement made available to The post by his Senior Special Assistant on media Mr. Samuelson Iwuoha stated that the speaker signed the MOU through the Guateng Province Speaker, Rt. Hon (Mrs.) Lindiwe Maseko in South Africa.
According to the statement, the MOU is a confirmation of mutual commitment on the implementation of close legislative cooperation and development between Guateng Province Legislature and the Imo State House of Assembly led by Rt. Hon. Uwajamugu.
The statement also said after the mutual signing of the MOU, Uwajamugu pledged that the Imo State House of Assembly would fulfil its part of the agreement.
