Groups In Solidarity Match For Buhari

The youths of Rivers State in collaboration with some civil society organization yesterday took to the street of Port Harcourt for peaceful rally as part of their solidarity for President Muhammadu  Buhari led administration.

 The rally which attracted members of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in all the 23 local government areas of Rivers State was also used to applaud the achievement of the Minister for Transportation,  Mr. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi.

Some of the inscriptions on the placard carried by the groups include, We thank Buhari for fighting corruption. We thank Buhari for Ogoni clean up, we thank you for Modern railway. Amaechi we love, we say ride on Mr. President, we thank you for the appointment of Rivers sons and daughters etc.

 Addressing the press at the Empowerment Support Initiative Centre (ESI) located at  Worji road, Port Harcourt City  Local government area of Rivers State, the coordinator of the rally, Mr. Robertson Jack  said the essence of the rally was to throw their weight behind the present administration.

 Jack who was supported by Mr. Dave Okumgba and  Eric Robinson  said President Buhari has done so well through his development agenda in the Niger Delta region and the appointment of the sons and daughters of Rivers State into the important position in the country.

  “We want to thank God for a leader who place progress, love and development above every other tribal sentiment.  Base on this, we the conglomerate civil society group in the Niger Delta decided to come together to celebrate our leader President Muhammadu Behari.”
