Google honours Dana Air crash victims with special ribbon

Google on Tuesday joined the world in mourning the over 190 persons who died in Sunday’s crash of an MD83 aircraft operated by Dana Air in Iju Ishaga, Lagos.
The flight was a few minutes from landing at the Murtala Muhammed Airport, Ikeja, when the plane crashed into some residential buildings in the densely populated area, killing all 153 passengers and crea as well as a number of people on the ground.
As a mark of respect for the victims, Google adorned its Nigerian search page (google.com.ng) with a black ribbon.
A message atached to it reads, “In remembrance of the Nigerian crash victims.”
