To ensure more Nigerians access foreign exchange trading, an international online broker, ForexRally, is planning to expand its operations to the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja and Port Harcourt.
The firm, which offers a wide variety of trading instruments, said the most popular choices among traders are usually the Forex market and some commodities.
Speaking at a press briefing cum award ceremony in Lagos, the Chief Executive Officer of Forex Rally, Mr. Artem Trofymenko, said novice traders, must thoroughly comprehend many of the forex terms, and abbreviations before making their first trade.
“Therefore, they often feel overwhelmed and discouraged to start their own journey in the forex market. Forex Rally is here to make sure that this doesn’t happen. We offer our clients advanced forex knowledge, in their own language, to become professional traders,” he said.
The firm, which rewarded winners of its “1st Nigerian Trading Championship, with a star prize of a brand new Toyota Hilux, said it is particularly interested in expanding its operations in Nigeria because of the immense potential of the country especially its huge vibrant youth population.
He said, “I see an unlimited potential in this country. What I like about Nigeria is the entrepreneurial drive of the people. Most people are interested in business. We want to have offices in Port Harcourt and Abuja because we want to reach more young people.”
He explained that in addition to offering world class trading platform to its numerous clients, the company also paid a lot of emphasis on boosting financial literacy in the country.
“We decided to focus on education because you cannot really succeed in the financial market without getting the right education,” he said.
Also, the Business Development Manager, Mr. Michael Akinwale, noted that there are a lot of opportunities in the country’s forex trading sector, adding that Forex Rally was out to ensure that Nigerians were adequately educated and informed on the opportunities that exist in the sector.
He pointed out that the company was the first to introduce the naira trading platform in the country as well as the N5,000 no deposit bonus initiative.
The award ceremony saw several winners going home with exciting prizes including Mr. Henry Williams who won the star prize of a brand new Toyota Hilux.
