Excitement as Chevron donates to physically challenged children and elderly home

The management of Chevron Nigeria Limited has donated some food items and other related materials to the Compassionate Centre of physically challenged children and the elderly home in Port Harcourt.

Speaking after the donation, Mr. Supo Shadiya who led the Chevron’s delegation said the gesture was in line with the company’s Policy on humanitarian service.

Shadiya who is the head of Chevron /NNPC Joint Venture, said Chevron was happy to identify with the inmates to encourage them to be useful as future citizen of Nigeria.

At the home of elderly where the Port Harcourt Area Manager of Chevron, Joe Jakpa made another donation, the inmates celebrated it with special dance steps.

Responding in separate ways, the Matron of the home for the physically challenged children Sister Pauline Butler and Sister Marry Alfred of the home of the elderly thanked Chevron for the gesture and assured them that the items donated will be used for the betterment of the children and the elderly.
