Emohua PDP Leaders visit Late Bright Ikonwa’s Family

Chief of Staff to the Rivers State Governor, Engineer Chukwuemeka Woke  has described  the death of former caretaker committee chairman of Emohua Local Government Area, late Bright Ikonwa as a painful  loss to the state.
Speaking  when he led Emohua PDP Leaders on  a condolence visit to the family of the deceased on Friday, Engineer Woke
 said late Ikonwa was a dedicated, loyal party man and a team player.
Engineer Woke said the PDP in Emohua Local Government Area has lost one of its pillars
He assured his family members  of the party’s support.
Earlier, Chief  Emmanuel Wonodi described late Bright Ikonwa as a trusted party faithful and assured his family that the party will always stand by them.
He added the party will participate actively  in burial  of Bright  Ikonwa. He stressed that the Late Emohua Caretaker Chairman will the respect  due him as strong pillar of the PDP.
He further urged the family members to relate with the party as they plan for the burial.
Speaking on behalf of the family, Mr Ezekiah Orji, thanked the governor Nyesom Wike and  PDP for  all their support during Bright’s    illness and called on them not to forget Bright  family after his burial.
Bright Ikonwa  is survived by aged parents, relatives,  wife and four children.
