The Department of State Services (DSS) has arrested two out of its five staff involved in the of a Bureau De Change operator in Abuja on November 20 in which a sum of N310million was carted away.
According to a press statement issued by Tony Opuiyo of the DSS on Sunday three of the DSS staff involved in the robbery are still at large while the Military authorities have commenced a detailed investigations of all the personnel involved in the robbery.
The statement also disclosed that a total of N66,437,445.00 have so far been recovered adding that efforts are on to recover the remaining amounts.
It named the suspects as Abdulrasheed Ahmadu Margarita, Solomon India, Peter Okoye, Patrick Ishaya and George Mwatapwa India adding that they were led to carry out the operation by one Capt. Hussein Ishaku Mahalia who has also been arrested.
“Those so far arrested have been suspended pending the completion of investigations”, the statement said
