The Muhammadu Buhari Osinbajo Dynamic Support Group has condemned the Saturday suicide bomb attacks in Maiduguri, Borno state which left nine people dead and several others injured describing as attacks from remnants of defeated Boko Haram terrorists group.
National Coordinator of the group Honourable Usman Ibrahim in a statement issued in Abuja said those behind insurgency in the country did not want it to end as they were profiting from it.
While urging the Federal Government and the Military not to be discouraged by the pockets of attacks here and there after the group has been diminished, he said the Government has recorded tremendous success in its fight against insurgency.
His words: ” I would say government has recorded 80 percent in the war against insurgency because it comes gradually and it will go gradually. These fanatical ways of people were instigated by international phenomenon but Nigeria with prayer and Bihari’s approach we will overcome it.
Today, you can now go to Maiduguri without fear , you can go to some of the villages there. It has to go gradually. In one or two years to come it will go finally”.
He also blamed those he described as enemies of the country on the current high prices of commodities in the market noting that the high prices were created artificially.
The high prices of commodities in the market is a deliberate attempt by those monsters and criminals who are sucking our blood. These prices are artificial I’m telling you the truth ” he said
Honourable Ibrahim however expressed optimism that the nation would witness food sufficiency in 2017 as a result of ongoing agriculture revolution in the country.
