Britain’s Princes William and Harry paid tribute to their mother, Princess Diana, on Wednesday, August 30, a day before the 20th anniversary of her death.

Touring one of the garden’s of their home, Kensington Palace, they saw memorial tributes left on the estate’s gates and left their own. The palace is where the brothers live and where Diana spent her days before the car crash that took her life.

White English roses and forget-me-nots were also planted in the area, renamed the White Garden, in tribute to the princess.

After touring the garden, the princes met with representatives from causes Diana supported, including Great Ormond Street Hospital, the National Aids Trust and The Leprosy Mission.
