Anxiety As Five Killed, Two Abducted Over Cult Clash In Rivers Community

Five persons have been reportedly killed and two abducted alive when the suspected cultists invaded   Oduaha community in Emohua Local Government Area of Rivers State on Friday night.

Some members of the community who witnessed the incident told us yesterday that the community is presently living in anxiety, adding that many people have already relocated to the neigbouring communities following the incident.

Those killed includes, Chile Wosu, Medi Amadi, Chijioke Wosu, Obiee Ordu, and Eloquent Wosu.

One of the youths in the community, Chijioke Wali said the   suspected Degban cultists invaded the community in a manner that look like a reprisal attack following the killing of two of their men two months ago in the community

He said the community, though is yet to ascertain the real cause of the attack but noted that the victims were members of Iceland group.

“The ones killed were members  of Iceland ,  the blood thirsty  Degban cult group stormed Oduaha-Emohua  community, killing five persons, beheaded two of its victims before taking two away making it the total number of seven victims affected by  the clash.

“The residents of  Oduaha-Emohua community have beginning to flee the community because the  rival cult gang have taken up armed parading the area in search of their opponent.  A similar thing also happened in  Ogba-Egbema Ndoni Local Government where four persons were beheaded”

 A source from the Police yesterday who pleaded anonymity said they  are not aware of the killing.
