Amigo Owner, 3 Others To Be Arraigned Over Terrorism Thursday


The owner of Abuja highbrow supermarket and Wonderland Park, Mustapha Fawaz and three other Lebanese are to be charged before a Federal High Court Abuja Thursday by the Department of State Security Service, SSS, on terrorism related activities.

Fawaz and the other Lebanese were arrested after the SSS and the Joint Task Force had in a joint operation in Kano, discovered a large arsenal of arms at a building in Kano believed to be owned by the Lebanese with alleged links to Lebanon based Hezbollah terrorist group.

Since the arms find, Amigo Supermarket and Wonderland Amusement Park have been under security surveillance with SSS operatives scouring through both places for possible hidden weapons.

Sources told The Post that moves are on by the SSS to get the approval of the Presidency to demolish Amigo mall, while the FCTA is being prevailed upon to revoke the title deed of the amusement park.
