The General Overseer of The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye arrived Port Harcourt Friday for the church’s Eastern Region Thanksgiving Service.

The thanksgiving which will take place on tomorrow at RCCG regional camp Aluu Port Harcourt will be presided over by Pastor Adeboye and other men of God.

Pastor Adeboye who has already visited other parishes of the church in the region on arrival is expected to meet with all ministers, workers and other members at the regional camp on Sunday for the annual thanksgiving.

‘ thepost’ learnt that the General Overseer had already met with all the Redeemed Ministers with the theme: “Ministerial Science and Wonders” while the workers held their own meeting with him on Saturday.

Responding, Pastor Soji Oni, a senior Pastor and one of the organizing committee said   Pastor Adeboye’s coming to Port Harcourt for the regional thanksgiving service was an opportunity for the weak to meet him.

He said:  “Daddy’s coming is a great opportunity for the week and the helpless because definitely he is going to visit them. There was a meeting with ministers on Friday while the workers joined us on Saturday and the thanksgiving will take place on Sunday.”

Pastor Oni also advised   members of the public to use the opportunity of the Clergy’s visit to break away from satanic yoke. “In a situation like this it is expected that where the children of God gather to worship and praise the Almighty God, the Holy Spirit will be there to free his children from satanic bondages. So, we are inviting the public to take this wonderful opportunity to be free for life,” he said.
