21 Rescued Chibok Girls Rejoin Their Families For Christmas
Contrary to rumours that more of the kidnapped Chibok Girls have been rescued, the Federal Government on Thursday night said the recently released former students were taken by the Department of State Service (DSS) to spend the Christmas.we’re their loved ones.
In a tweeted, Garba Shehu, spokesman to President Muhammadu Buhari, wrote: “Today, the DSS took the 21 girls already secured to Yola, Adamawa State on their way home to celebrate the Christmas with their families.”
Continuing, he told those spreading such news of a further release of Chibok Girls: “We are not there yet.
“No new girls have been released, but by God’s grace, they will be,”‎ he stressed.
